Return to Peace Retreat: Silent Temple Meditation & Integration Retreat
With Alina Retreat Bio
February 13 - 22, 2027
A 10-day Retreat combining:
Silent Temple Meditation, Cultural & Nature Immersion, and Meaningful Integration for those who want to experience life with more presence, clarity and capacity.
Spend ten days exploring Northern Thailand through three intentionally chosen settings, from a tranquil city sanctuary, to several days living in an authentic mountain Buddhist temple, and finally a peaceful mountain retreat where comfort, nature, and guided practices create space for rest, reflection, and integration.
At the heart of the retreat is a rare opportunity to experience several days of noble silence in a mountain temple, stepping away from the constant noise and demands of everyday life.
Supported by meditation, mindful movement, Buddhist teachings, and time in nature, you’ll reconnect with a quieter, more present way of being.
This retreat isn’t about escaping life. It’s about returning to it with greater clarity, presence, and peace, carrying the simplicity and wisdom of the experience into the life waiting for you back home.
Unlike most meditation retreats, Return to Peace has been intentionally designed as a journey through three distinct stages. Rather than simply arriving, meditating, and leaving, each environment serves a purpose, helping you prepare, immerse yourself fully in the experience, and gently integrate it before returning home.
1. Preparation | Slow down. Arrive. Let go of everyday life.
Begin in a peaceful city sanctuary where you’ll settle into the rhythm of Thailand, meet the group, and build the foundations for a meaningful temple experience through gentle practices, workshops and guided trips preparation experiences.
Highlights:
– Opening Circle and time to settle in
– Temple & Nature Immersion Tour
– Dhamma Talk with a Buddhist Monk
– Daily yoga to prepare the body for stillness
– Introductory Workshops
– Exploring Chiang Mai
2. Immersion | Step into silence.
Spend 5 days living in noble silence at an authentic mountain Buddhist temple. Through meditation, simplicity, and monastic rhythm, you’ll have the rare opportunity to step away from distraction and reconnect with what truly matters.
Highlights:
– Temple meditation practice & noble silence
– Following the daily rhythm of temple life, including seated and walking meditation, simple vegetarian meals, and quiet reflection, you’ll experience the depth that structure, meditation and silence can offer.
3. Integration | Return with intention.
Transition into a peaceful mountain retreat where comfort, nature, and guided integration practices help you reflect on your experience and begin weaving its insights into everyday life.
Highlights:
– Mindfulness & integration workshops and closing circle
– Continuation of meditation practice
– Guided cultural and nature immersion tours
– Daily somatic & healing practices (e.g. massage, yoga)
– Time to integrate and unwind
This retreat is for you if
– You’re seeking peace, clarity, equanimity, and a sense of purpose
– You’re feeling overwhelmed by the pace of everyday life.
– You’ve been curious about meditation but don’t know where to begin or would like to deepen your meditation practice
– You’re longing for genuine stillness rather than another busy wellness retreat.
– You feel called to disconnect from constant noise and reconnect with yourself.
– You’re looking for an authentic experience where ancient eastern tradition meets modern life.
– You value simplicity, nature, and meaningful conversations.
This retreat may not be for you if
– You’re looking for entertainment, a busy itinerary, or a travel only-focused holiday rather than an inner journey.
– You’re uncomfortable with 5 days of noble silence, simple temple living, and following a monastic daily rhythm. During the temple stay, accommodation is modest: a simple room, a small bed, and shared bathrooms – and this is intentional.
– You’re looking for a large retreat rather than a small, intimate group.
– You’re not open to meditation, self-reflection, or stepping outside your comfort zone.
Participant Feedback Previous Edition
The most beautiful experience of my life. The experience at the temple was very profound. I have been to many spiritual places but none with an energy such as this one. The things I arrived with seemed clearer to me, I started to live more in the present. My takeaway is that we can always chose peace.
– Ana, Romania
The temple stay was not easy but worth all the effort.
I came out a different person. These past days were more healing and nurturing than my entire last year.
– Dorin, Germany
This retreat exceeded my expectations because there were different things to experince that really opened my mind and willingness to try things outside of my comfort zone. The temple stay is not something / thought / would ever do, but it has given me so much to work with and build on to become a better and kinder person.
– Nathalie, Netherlands
This experience was more than I expected, a full bodied retreat that awoke and touched all senses, from smells and sounds to feelings and connections. I did not have to care about any logistics here. I was fully supported, even pampered.
It exceeded all expectations again and again.
– Alexandra, Romania
